December 2004 - Janauary 2005

Moved house - bought BBQ and mower (essentials) and an inflatable pool (luxury).

October 2004 - November 2004

The bigger tent has been tested at Muriwai and passed! Took 2 hours to put up - which isn't too bad for a first attempt! House hunting and selling is going well - a few hiccups now and then!

May 2004 - September 2004

Pretty much more of the same, except for that it's winter and so it's rainy and cold. Not so much camping, surfing or snorkelling but we have made it to the beach a couple of times. Bigger tent is on its way as summer approaches. A long weekend is booked at Tawharanui in December.

February 2004 - April 2004

We both now have jobs - and we actually like them! Alys works as the office manager of a landscaping company and I am the IT Manager at a company that provides incentive programs to other businesses. We've done a lot more camping and now need a bigger tent! We've been surfing, snorkelling, experienced Art Deco weekend in Napier, seen Mama Mia, had dinner at the top of the Sky Tower and more.

November 2003 - January 2004

We've painted fences, milked cows, rounded up sheep, searched for missing pigs (long story!) We survived Christmas, just. Alys put her knee out and I put a hole in my leg - however both are heeling well. We moved into our place in Auckland and have just about finished unpacking. Been camping, surfing, snorkelling, walking, cycling and shopping! Next up - jobs!!
